*Aperture is the measure of light gathering ability, The larger the better
*Focal length is the distance between the telescope’s primary lens

For a beginner it is always recommended to start with any telescope that has an aperture of 3-6 inch and Space Arcade has a variety of brands to choose from.
Even if you're living in cities, it is easy to spot and capture bright planets like Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn & definitely the Sun (using Solar Filter) & the Moon in detail.
More than the budget its the investment consideration on something meaningful, although a 3inch to 4inch aperture scope is good to start with and it would cost you anywhere in the range of INR 10,000/- to 20,000/-
*Refractors can always be a good options for beginners for ease of use, budget-friendly and good for solar system objects in case of small aperture telescopes, but in case of moderate or intermediate slightly larger aperture telescopes, you should go for *Reflectors (or called as Newtonians) for more light gathering, less expensive and less errors.
Any new telescope always comes with all required eyepieces for initial viewing experience. But you can always improve your viewing experience by getting different Eyepiece, both for higher *magnification, larger Field of View & better contrast. A barlow lens is imp. for more magnification & photography of planets. Filters are important for the next level of experience and Solar filters are must-must have for Sun observations. An additional padded carrying bag should be purchased if you travel frequently, which will help to keep the telescopes safe & clean.
- The mount depends on the following and as per your need:
Alt-Azimuth mount (ALT-AZ) is a simple two-axis mount for small refractors and
reflectors, is acceptable for casual observation and has a very little pre-setup time. It gives the optical tube, UP-Down and Horizontal motions.
Equatorial mount (EQ) allows you to track an object by moving only one axis. This feature greatly enhances the utility of equatorial mounts. It gives the optical tube Arc motions, as to how any object moves in the actual sky. And, so it is better suited for stability during a continuous observation and also during Astrophotography techniques.
For planetary photography or lunar photography, you can connect your smartphone
to the telescope using a smartphone adapter, capture still photos and also
beautiful videos. For DSLR photography we have to use T-ring (as per your DSLR
brand) and T-adapter.
Collecting Mirror or lens of a Telescope is the most important and so aperture plays
the most crucial role. If you want an upgrade, you need to purchase a larger aperture
telescope and then use new and old equipment, for different kinds of requirements.

Bought a gso 6" nightwatch telescope, great experience, and the best of all, great service...I was looking for a trusted site for over 3 months and found Space Arcade. What ever question you have, they have the answer, you can trust them for every advise..
I ordered a solar filter for my telescope, with a customised diameter, and the item was shipped within 48hrs. The filter mount itself is precision-cut and constructed, and fits my telescope tube perfectly. The filter material is certified Thousand Oaks silver-black polymer film, as stated in the item description. Great for sun spot observations.
My only complaint is that the shop did not provide shipment tracking information after the item was dispatched, which is a bit of an inconvenience. I had to call up the shop and obtain this, and they were kind enough to provide it.
Otherwise, it was a good experience with Space Arcade and would definitely recommend it to anyone delving into amateur astronomy.

Good. Bought the celestron 60AZ from their store and i have to say i am impressed. I did my own research and called them beforehand to see if the product was available. They did not force me to buy their own line of products either. When at the store they gave us a full is installation guide of the telescope.

I recently got the 114 mm reflector telescope from Space Arcade, which is a solid choice for beginne (like me) and intermediate stargazers. The quality of the product is very impressive. Its 114 mm aperture gathers enough light to reveal planets, star clusters, and even some faint deep-sky objects with good clarity. The reflector design minimizes chromatic aberration, making views of the moon and planets crisp and detailed. The setup is typically straightforward, although it may require collimation (alignment) adjustments over time. This scope came with a stable mount, but some may find it slightly shaky at high magnifications. Overall, it’s an awesome and capable telescope for those starting to explore the night sky.

Brought a telescope from space arcade recently the telescope was in good shape and quality their team and neeraj guided me to choose my first telescope and I don't give out usually 5 stars they deserve it especially because they weren't trying me to selling anything they properly educated me that's something which I liked most.
Would recommend people who are looking for telescope and please note that take your time to choose one dont make any immediate decision disscus with their team still if you are not sure they do observation on weekend go and visit to get more clarity. It's pretty difficult to find their location make sure u make a call before hand and they do home delivery and demo aswell.

I knew I needed a telescope and had no idea what type I needed. I was received at Space Arcade by Neeraj and given free guidance on how to go about it. Picked up an equipment that wowed my son on his birthday. The free demo class at home by Shiril was the peak of the excitement. Thanks to Space Arcade for the enablement you provide.

a)Situated in clumsy lane, very tough to find. No signage, works out of a residential apartment
b) Plan was to buy a Celestron 15x70 binoculors and Celestron Astomaster 130 EQ
c) Met with no proper reception. The person who addressed me, my wife and my college kid was seated very relaxed leaning backwards very casually and addressed us. No addressing the customer, no probing was done to understand the need.
d) He called up shiril or some boy to open up a 15x70 and when I started asking him questions on usage or what can be seen, although I did now from my past 6 month learning, but still no proper answer was given. All negatives . At the end of the discussion all that we were told is that only if you have a very premium upscale telescope you can see planets / nebulae otherwise only just white dots.
e) I still wanted to give him a chance to understand me and my needs and asked for price of 15x70 and the answer was around 10k. When I still gave him another chance and told him, that if I'm buying it now , what is the exact price, few moments later answer was 9k exact. It was listed on Amazon for 7999, Indian Telescope shop for 8000 and Tejraj for 6931+ 18 %tax.
f) Finally, we decided that we made a wrong choice of visiting this shop , who just gave us a typical delhi wala attitude and lost the sale.
g) Getting out sitting in my car, placed an order with Amazon for both of the products which will be delivered to my home shortly.
